The new Lime Bike was designed to address the size and handling challenges of its predecessor, making the vehicle more accessible and comfortable for a wider range of riders, particularly those of smaller stature. As Lead Industrial Designer, I focused on key improvements, including 20-inch wheels to create a lower center of gravity and improve maneuverability, alongside a rear-mounted battery to enhance security and optimize weight distribution. The design also introduced a larger, more refined seat adjustment lever, making saddle height adjustments easier and more intuitive for riders.
